OSRAMs new NIGHT BREAKER LED SMART ECE H11 is fully homologated according to ECE R37 and consequently approved for all 12V vehicles in all ECE member states for all light functions as suitable replacement for all H11 lamps and H11 bases. The lamp's ECE R37 homologation eliminates the need for matching headlamp approval numbers, carrying official approval documents, or applying stickers. They offer a modern and bright white light with a color temperature of up to 6000 Kelvin and impress with its extra brightness 2) , while the glare of other road users falls below the permissible maximum values by up to 50% 2) . In comparison to standard lamps, such as halogen lamps, these LED retrofit lamps consume up to 60% less energy and convince thanks to LED technology and the specially developed vibration-resistant design, with up to 6 times longer life time 2) . They have been tested in our DIN-certified environmental simulation laboratory for extreme external influences in terms of the ingress of water and dust and validated with IP protection class IP55.
