TotalEnergies HBF 4
Recommended for the brake and clutch systems of all vehicles that use synthetic brake fluid and require the DOT 4 level. It does not mix with other brake fluids having a DOT 3, DOT 4 or DOT 5.1 chemical composition. It does not mix with mineral-based brake fluids of the LHM type or with silicone-based fluids. It has very high "dry" and "wet" boiling points adapted to the temperature rises in hydraulic brake circuits. This property helps prevent "vapour lock". It is resistant to moisture absorption. It protects against corrosion the many different metal alloys used in the brake system that operate in both cold and high-temperature conditions (cast iron, aluminium, steel, copper, brass, etc.). It is compatible with rubber seals and hoses.
