Natural Hydraulic Lime

Natural hydraulic lime is a binding construction material obtained by firing limestones containing clay and minerals, cement-free, able to harden both in air and in water (in a moist environment), and with high breathability. It is used in particular in the restoration of historic buildings, in the production of horasan (Roman) mortar and in stone wall plasters, in order to provide durability, flexibility and moisture balance. It is an ideal natural binder for medium-hardness applications.
