Foundation Block

A foundation/substructure block that needs no formwork or plastering and lays quickly for a sturdy base.

The foundation block is a concrete substructure block that can be laid directly, without formwork. Not needing formwork saves the cost and time that would otherwise go into building it.

Because the blocks have a flat surface, no extra plastering is needed to even out the surface after laying; being easy to lay also saves time and labour.

Particularly in structures such as pools, it builds a sturdier substructure than a traditional formwork system, which helps prevent problems such as future cracking or bursting.
