Smooth (plain) surface welded mesh — for light reinforcement, fencing, cages and mesh work.
Smooth steel wire mesh is a welded grid made by joining plain (smooth) steel wires at right angles by spot welding. It is preferred in applications that do not require a high bond: light reinforcement, plaster and screed mesh, boundary and safety fencing, cages and wire-netting work, and partition and security panels are the main uses.
It shares the same raw material and manufacturing standards as the ribbed type: SAE 1008 / 1010 rod; DIN 488, ASTM and other international standards; 4.00–10.00 mm wire diameter; 50–400 mm eye spacing; panel sizes up to 750 × 2500 mm; a minimum tensile strength of 550 N/mm² and yield strength of 500 N/mm².
Sheets are bundled and tightly tied with wire; the maximum package weight is 2000 kg. Add the product to your quote list for a wire diameter, eye spacing and sizes to suit your needs.
