Wire Rod
Wire Rod & Wire

Wire rod is hot-rolled round steel — the primary raw material of wire drawing, cold forming and many other manufacturing processes. It is produced at the Diler Iron & Steel Wire Rod Rolling Mill with a capacity of 450,000 tons/year, in diameters from 4.5 to 30 mm, in coils of 1,500 – 2,300 kg.
Production covers the low-carbon, medium & high-carbon, welding-wire, steel-cord, free-cutting, cold-forming and prestressed-concrete strand & wire steel quality groups.
Wire rods enhanced through heat treatment and surface-coating processes deliver high strength and excellent corrosion resistance; annealed and phosphated wire rod options are available.
