Cold-drawn wire (skinpass) is steel wire produced in low- and medium-carbon grades, used to manufacture fasteners such as rivets, nuts, bolts and screws. It is produced at the DNA PC Strand facility with a capacity of 7,200 tons/year, in diameters from 5.50 to 29.50 mm.

Coils are prepared with an inner diameter of 1,000 – 1,100 mm or 750 – 850 mm, an outer diameter of 1,250 – 1,350 mm or 1,100 – 1,200 mm, a width of 400 – 500 mm, and a maximum weight of 1,000 kg.
