Decorative gravel is an ornamental gravel with rounded or lightly angular grains, washed clean of dust and soil. Depending on the natural stone it is drawn from, it is available in beige, grey, white or mixed tones.

It is used in decorative outdoor applications such as garden ground cover, dry river-bed landscaping features, surface dressing for planters and flower beds, path fill, and as a top-dressing around plants to help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
