Screed Sand

A building sand with an even grain structure, used for floor screeds and levelling layers.

Screed sand is a well-graded, medium-grain building sand used in floor screeds and the levelling layer beneath a floor finish. Mixed with cement, it forms a flat, sound surface ready to take the final covering.

It is used in both thin and thick screed layers under ceramic tile, parquet or laminate flooring, and in levelling screeds poured over thermal or acoustic insulation boards.

Supplied loose in bulk by the tonne or cubic metre; request a quote to match your project's needs.
