Selsil X1 provides excellent adhesion to many surfaces such as metal, aluminium, granite, porcelain, PVC, concrete, ceramic, glass, marble, brick, and wood. It is used as a filler putty in the installation of PVC, aluminium, and wooden joinery, in all types of façade cladding, in roof and balcony applications, at door and window edges, in the manufacture of caravans and containers, and on boats. It can be applied to damp surfaces. It does not sag or shrink. It has high UV resistance. It contains no solvents or volatile chemicals.

Features: It is easy to apply, can be worked hot or cold, contains no solvents or isocyanates, releases no VOCs during curing, does not sag, forms no bubbles, is resistant to UV rays, does not yellow, has high heat resistance, is resistant to chemicals, is watertight, is resistant to weathering and ageing, is unaffected by expansion, is elastic, does not lose volume, is paintable, and adheres very well to many building materials.

Application and Areas of Use: The application surface must be clean, dry, dust-free, and grease-free. Selsil X1 is suitable for the assembly and bonding of metal, aluminium, glass, plastic, wood, and concrete materials to one another.

It can be used for many applications as an elastic adhesive and filler sealant indoors and outdoors in the construction industry; • In the insulation of window and door elements, • In the connection joints of wooden and metal structures, • In the installation and insulation of exterior façade elements, • In sealing applications in the kitchen and bathroom, • In building façade claddings, • In roof construction, • In concrete joints open to the atmosphere.
