Adhesive Foam

Selsil Adhesive PU Foam is a one-component bonding foam, polyurethane-based and hardening with the moisture in the air, used in the thermal insulation of buildings for bonding polystyrene (XPS or EPS) boards and decorative building elements such as mouldings.

The surface must be clean, dry, dust-free and free of grease. Surfaces should be dampened. Before use, the can should be kept at 20-25°C and shaken about 30 times. The foam should be applied 2 cm in from the edges of the board and in a 3 cm width. Foam should also be applied along the centre line; after 3-4 minutes the board should be bonded and pressed for 1 minute. Adjustments can be made within 15-20 minutes. After 2-3 hours the excess can be cut off.

Uncured foam can be cleaned with Selsil Foam Cleaner. Cured foam is removed with a knife or spatula.

When stored in a cool and dry place between +5°C and +25°C, the shelf life is 12 months.

Keep out of the reach of children. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use in a well-ventilated environment. Do not inhale the vapour. Do not smoke. Keep away from open flame. Refer to the Safety Data Sheet for safety information.
