Foam Adhesive

Sound Insulation

A permanent, effective solvent-based adhesive for acoustic foam applications.

Foam adhesive is applied with a spray gun or a brush, as a thin film on one surface (or both, if preferred) at 3–6 bar air pressure. After application, allow a short time for the solvent to flash off; this time depends on the amount applied, room temperature and airflow. The glued surfaces must be joined within 3–5 minutes, otherwise the desired result may not be achieved. Since correction is not possible after bonding, the joint must be made accurately.

Solid acoustic foam adhesive is the foam adhesive we use and recommend most, as it provides a permanent, effective bond. Application is very simple: it is applied to the wall with a roller. It is sold in two tin sizes, 3 kg and 15 kg; one 15 kg tin covers about 90 m².
