Shelf Life	When stored in its unopened original packaging, in a dry environment, protected from direct sunlight and frost, the shelf life is 12 months from the date of production.

Application

The entire surface must be clean and completely free of cement laitance, loose particles, dirt, oil, dust and foreign matter. The surface should be abraded by water jet or mechanical abrasion to achieve better adhesion. Old paints and coatings can be coated over provided they are still well bonded to the surface. Newly cast concrete surfaces must have completed their initial curing period, and falls should be formed towards the drains to prevent ponding on the coating. Prime the surface with one coat of acrylic primer (ACRYL-1K thinned at a ratio of 1/3 depending on the surface condition). After the primer coat has dried, apply one coat of ACRYL-1K to the surface with a roller or brush. While the first coat is still wet, lay the glass-fibre mesh onto the surface and pass over it with the roller so that the mesh becomes embedded in the ACRYL-1K. Allow the surface to dry for at least 4-8 hours depending on the air temperature. Complete the second coat of ACRYL-1K so that the mesh underneath is fully covered. Apply the final coat of ACRYL-1K to make up the total coating thickness and leave the coating to dry overnight.
