| Package | Qty | |
|---|---|---|
| 20 kg powder + 5 kg liquid set |
| Consumption | 2.0–2.5 kg/m² per single coat (based on a single-coat application on a smooth surface under suitable conditions; may vary depending on surface characteristics and application conditions). |
|---|---|
| Shelf Life | Both components must be stored unopened in their original packaging in a dry, frost-free environment. Under suitable storage conditions, the shelf life of the powder and liquid components is 1 year from the production date. The liquid component freezes at temperatures below 0°C. Opened packaging should be tightly resealed, stored under suitable conditions and used within 1 week. |
Application
The application surface must be sound, clean, dust-free and level. Make sure the surface is free of substances such as form oil, paint and dust, and that it has fully cured. Loose pieces in the surface (iron, wood, etc.) should be removed and the resulting voids filled with the appropriate TP REPAIR-800. Application should begin after the surface has been dampened. The appropriate amount of liquid component (5 kg liquid component per 20 kg powder) is placed in a mixing container. The whole bag is poured in and mixed with a hand mixer until no lumps remain. After resting for 5 minutes, the mortar is mixed again. Where chamfer tape is not preferred at the joints of the application surface, the joints should be rounded and reinforced with mesh. The flowable mortar is applied with a brush or roller. The second coat should be applied perpendicular to the first, at least 6 hours later. Wait 3 days before the final covering (ceramic, screed or cement-based plaster), taking care not to mechanically damage the waterproofing during the covering work. If the application area is a water tank, allow the product to cure for at least 28 days. Application tool: brush.
