Application
Applied by hand. The appropriate amount of powder (approx. 5 kg TP FIX per 1.4–1.5 l of water) should be mixed with water and kneaded. The resulting dough-consistency mortar must be used without delay. The hole in the application area is widened to at least 3x3 cm to reduce the water pressure. The mortar is shaped into a cone by hand and placed into the leaking area in a single move. Constant pressure must be maintained for at least 2 minutes, until the material hardens. Once the material has set, the surface should be quickly smoothed with a trowel. For holes that cannot be closed in one go, the above procedure is repeated from the edges towards the centre. Not applied on brick, autoclaved aerated concrete or weakly plastered surfaces.
