Technical Data Sheet (PDF) Official Terapol technical document
ConsumptionTotal theoretical consumption: 1.60 kg/m² per 1 mm thickness
Shelf LifeCan be stored for 6 months in its unopened original packaging in a dry environment at temperatures between 5°C and 25°C. Opened packages must be used immediately.

Application

Weak sections of the surfaces to be coated must be removed by milling, sand blasting or sanding. If the surface is very smooth, it should likewise be roughened by milling or sand blasting to increase the specific surface area. Any oil on the surface must be burned off, and dirt and dust removed by vacuum. After a primer has been applied to the cleaned surfaces, the solvent-free transparent epoxy coating is spread over the surface with a notched trowel at the consumption rate appropriate to the desired thickness. Gas bubbles are carefully popped with the aid of a torch and the coating is left to cure. Application tools: roller or brush.
