TP ADX

Crystalline, capillary-acting liquid waterproofing admixture for concrete

A liquid concrete admixture that forms regular crystalline fibres within the capillary voids of the concrete, keeping the concrete permanently watertight.

Consumption	If the water/cement ratio is < 0.55, 2% of the weight of cement in the concrete mix. (The water/cement ratio must not exceed 0.55.)
Shelf Life	Can be stored for 12 months in its unopened original packaging in dry environments at temperatures between +5°C and +25°C. Opened packages must be used immediately.

Application

Shake the drum of Terapol TP ADX before use. The water/cement ratio of the concrete to which Terapol ADX will be added must not exceed 0.55. Terapol ADX is added into the concrete at a rate of 2% of the weight of cement it contains. If the mixing is done on site, it is added into the ready-to-pour concrete in the truck mixer at 2% of the cement weight and mixed for approximately 5 minutes without delay. If the mixing is done at the batching plant, the product is added into the concrete mixing water and this mixture is added into the concrete as the final ingredient. The working time of the product is approximately 45 minutes after it has been added to the mix. Application method: mixed directly in the concrete mixer. Points to note: The water/cement ratio must not exceed 0.55. When CEM II and III type Portland cements are used, the use of a set retarder is recommended. May be harmful to health in contact with skin. Do not apply in frosty weather or when there is a risk of frost. Protect the treated surface from rain, frost, foot traffic and high humidity until it is completely dry. Do not apply in conditions where the surface and ambient temperature is below +5°C or above +35°C.
