PUR SELF-2K

Two-component, polyurethane-based, solvent-free, self-levelling floor coating
A polyurethane-based, two-component, solvent-free, self-levelling floor coating material. It is a waterproof, chemical-resistant, elastic coating, resistant to impact and abrasion, with self-spreading properties, that does not inhibit the elasticity of the rubber sheet onto which it is applied.
Areas of Use
- Indoor sports halls and multi-purpose sports floors
- Showrooms, restaurants, offices, shopping centres
- Widely used in production areas, industrial buildings, warehouses, commercial greenhouses and places such as hospitals
- Rubber sheets coated with polyurethane putty
- Car park floors
Advantages
- Contains no solvent
- Resistant to friction and abrasion.
- Easy to apply.

Application
PUR SELF-2K is packaged in two separate cans with the ratios pre-set. The floor to receive the coating material must be a clean, dry, oil-free, repaired surface. First, priming must be carried out according to the type of surface. On concrete surfaces, EPOXY PRIMER or PUR PRIMER should be used as the primer. Component B is added to component A and mixed with a mixer for about 2-3 minutes until a homogeneous mixture is obtained; the mix is poured onto the floor and spread over it with a levelling rake or trowel. Once the coating reaches the right consistency, it must be worked over without delay with a spiked roller to remove any air bubbles. It must be protected from water for 8-10 hours. All of the mixed material must be consumed within the pot life; otherwise irreversible gelling will begin, making it impossible to use. Application tools: trowel, levelling rake.
