Adjusts viscosity to temperature: The additives in ELF MOTO 4 ROAD 10W40 thicken the oil at high temperatures and ensure fluidity at low temperatures. Thanks to its High Viscosity Index, it adjusts the oil's viscosity according to temperature so that a uniform film thickness is achieved. Thanks to its viscosity, ELF MOTO 4 ROAD 10W40 provides high lubrication performance and easy cold starting. It also delivers a rapid rise in oil pressure and low wear on engine parts. Piston ring sealing: ELF MOTO4 ROAD 10W40 reduces fouling of the ring grooves caused by combustion and preserves the engine's full power. Resistance to oxidation: ELF MOTO4 ROAD 10W40 contains an antioxidant additive that neutralises and slows oxidation. This extends the oil's service life, maintains its fluidity, keeps it homogeneous and limits changes in its acid level. Prevents clutch disc slippage: Thanks to the oil's molecular structure, it forms a homogeneous film between the clutch discs. Its friction coefficient is suited to mechanical requirements, preventing clutch slippage and premature disc wear.
